Commission: Arquitens-class light cruiser

And here is the finished Arquitens-class light cruiser. Now I'll be the first to admit that the quality of these pictures are not up to my usual standard but the size makes things difficult.

The paint job itself isn't really anything special, the ship has specifically been painted to look similar to the Raider and Gozanti. Other than that it is supposed to represent a ship that has seen a decent amount of service patrolling the space lanes but haven't been involved in much action.

  1. Awesome! If I weren't on the verge of moving, I'd buy one of these.

    2. Unless you can persuade the commissioner to sell it to you, it's not available any longer.

  3. I'd buy this too if it was for sale. There isn't anyone who makes plastic/metal models of this ship.

    1. Indeed that is correct, though I would be surprised if that continues to be the case for much longer.

  4. Awesome... it's SPOT ON. I'm actually dabbing a bit in scratch building myself, but I can't find a way to etch into that plastic like you have. Would you mind sharing how you do that so precisely? I'm really in need of some advice

    1. I use a scribing tool, just google Tamiya scribing tool to find the one I have.

As for the how I do it, well I did write a simple tutorial a few years back. I hope it helps.
